Blessed is the Name of The Lord, for Your mercies endure forever. You have poured out Your grace on me though I am unworthy, yet You are making me righteous. I was in darkness, but now I behold Your glorious light. I was lost, yet now, I am found. I was deceived, but now delivered into truth by Your Holy Spirit. You’ve turned my mourning into gladness, my grumbling into praises, and my sorrows into joy. Lord You are my rock and my fortress, on You alone do I depend for all things. You show me how to live, and what to live for. Justice and freedom are found in You alone. I searched the earth for them and found them only in You. It is to You that I turn in search of justice, it is to You that I plead my cause. Lord give us, Your Body, wisdom and understanding, that we may show those who inhabit the earth Your glorious ways. May we be full of mercy and grace, as You are, so they may see You in us, and long to know You. Lord may Your Body be of one spirit and one mind. Reveal to us the error of our ways, so that we may serve You in spirit and in truth all the days of our lives.
So be it all, in Jesus’ precious name.

Your Mercies Endure Forever
Wednesday, February 1st, 2006A New Years Prayer
Wednesday, February 1st, 2006Dear Father, You have blessed us {Your Body} with yet another year, but only You know what each new day brings our way. We behold a new day, bright and cheery, full of glorious potential, a day to be embraced with joy and gladness. Lord, may we live each day purposefully to bring You glory and honor. Help us to be mindful of our time, to embrace each moment and savor it as precious, for our times are in Your hands. My prayer is that we draw closer to You, hear Your voice, and walk in Your will for our lives. Lord, may we seek Your face and spread Your joy and grace where ever we may go. May we look to the future with great expectation for all You are going to do through us. May we look up to You to be filled, and around us to be poured out, than to You, to be filled again. Lord let us choose to make New Years prayers instead of resolutions, for in our own strength we can do nothing, but in Christ we can do all things, by Your power. Lord fill our homes with Your presence this year. May our homes be a sanctuary, dedicated to You and You alone. May all who enter therein be blessed by Your presence, find Your peace, and be drawn by Your Spirit. Lord thank You that You are teaching us to walk by faith and not by sight. Thank You that You are teaching us that joy can always be found in spite of our circumstances, and that we can carry Your peace with us always, where ever life may take us this year.
In Jesus Precious Name, so be it all.

Psalms 37
Wednesday, January 18th, 20061 Fret not yourself because of evildoers, neither be you envious against the workers of iniquity. 2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb. 3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shall you dwell in the land, and truly you shall be fed. 4 Delight yourself also in the LORD: and he shall give you the desires of your heart. 5 Commit your way to the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. 6 And he shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your judgment as the noonday. 7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass. 8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not yourself in any wise to do evil. 9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait on the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. 10 For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yes, you shall diligently consider his place, and it shall not be. 11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace. 12 The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes on him with his teeth. 13 The LORD shall laugh at him: for he sees that his day is coming. 14 The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation. 15 Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken. 16 A little that a righteous man has is better than the riches of many wicked. 17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholds the righteous. 18 The LORD knows the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever. 19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied. 20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away. 21 The wicked borrows, and pays not again: but the righteous shows mercy, and gives. 22 For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off. 23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delights in his way. 24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholds him with his hand. 25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. 26 He is ever merciful, and lends; and his seed is blessed. 27 Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for ever more. 28 For the LORD loves judgment, and forsakes not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off. 29 The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever. 30 The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue talks of judgment. 31 The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide. 32 The wicked watches the righteous, and seeks to slay him. 33 The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged. 34 Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt you to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, you shall see it. 35 I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree. 36 Yet he passed away, and, see, he was not: yes, I sought him, but he could not be found. 37 Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace. 38 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off. 39 But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble. 40 And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.
Psalm 34
Wednesday, January 18th, 20061 I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. 2 My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. 3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together. 4 I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. 5 They looked to him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed. 6 This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles. 7 The angel of the LORD encamps round about them that fear him, and delivers them. 8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusts in him. 9 O fear the LORD, you his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him. 10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing. 11 Come, you children, listen to me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD. 12 What man is he that desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good? 13 Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking guile. 14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it. 15 The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their cry. 16 The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth. 17 The righteous cry, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. 18 The LORD is near to them that are of a broken heart; and saves such as be of a contrite spirit. 19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivers him out of them all. 20 He keeps all his bones: not one of them is broken. 21 Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate. 22 The LORD redeems the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
He has put a New Song in my Heart
Wednesday, January 18th, 2006Lord, what are my sorrows? They are financial and circumstantial only. Therefore I am truly blessed! I will lift praises to Your Name for my sorrows are trivial and few. Lord You are forever gracious and good, my cup does run over, my blessings are without number! Glory be to God, I can count my sorrows on my one hand, Yet my blessings are as the stars, who can know them all? I am blessed in love, in relationship, in health, in sound mind, in peace, and in being fed. You quench my every thirst and satisfy my every hunger. You give me the desires of my heart, as I delight myself in You. You are my hope, my peace, my joy, and my righteousness. There is no other balm for my wounds. You have brought healing to my broken spirit. You have restored to me all that I ever destroyed. You have given to me all that I never deserved, and what I do deserve You have sheltered me from in Your grace. You are the lifter of my head, the lover of my soul, To whom else shall I turn? You alone are my rock and my salvation, on You alone do I put my trust. I will not be disappointed for You are faithful and just to perform Your Word. You are the author and finisher of my faith.
So be it all in Jesus’ precious name.
